1. About LinkKati and these Terms

LinkKati (in Arabic: لنكاتي) is an online “link in bio” service. It lets you create a public page, reachable at a web address that includes the handle you choose, where you can gather your links, a short bio, a profile photo and icons for your profiles on other platforms. It also gives you tools such as page analytics, notifications and support. In these Terms, “LinkKati”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the LinkKati service and its owners, and “you” means the person using the service.

These Terms of Service and Community Standards (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and LinkKati. They apply to the LinkKati website, public pages, dashboard, applications, emails and messages, and any other product or feature we offer (together, the “Services”).

You accept these Terms when you create an account, or simply by accessing or otherwise using the Services, even without an account. If you do not agree to them, you must not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organization.

The Community Standards in the section “Community Standards: content that is not allowed” are part of these Terms. Any other rules we publish inside the Services, such as rules for a specific feature or the consent statements shown next to checkboxes, also apply to the features they cover.

2. Who can use LinkKati

• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent, whichever is higher.
• If you are under 18 (or under the age of legal majority where you live), you may use LinkKati only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use.
• You may not use LinkKati if we have previously disabled your account for breaking these Terms, unless we give you written permission.
• You may not use LinkKati if the laws that apply to you, including sanctions laws, prohibit you from receiving our Services.
• You may not use LinkKati if you have been convicted of a sexual offense involving a minor.

We may ask you to confirm your age or identity, and we may restrict or disable an account if we reasonably believe these requirements are not met.

3. Your account and its security

• Give accurate, current and complete information, and keep it up to date. Do not create an account for someone else without their permission.
• Each account is for one person: do not share your account with others, and do not create accounts in bulk, by automated means, or to get around a restriction we have placed on you.
• Keep your password and one-time verification codes private. Do not share, sell, rent or transfer your account, handle or login details to anyone.
• You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account, except to the extent it results from our breach of these Terms. Tell us right away through Support if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
• If you connect a third-party sign-in provider or a phone number to your account, you confirm that it belongs to you.

We may require additional verification, such as a code sent by email or WhatsApp, before sign-in, before sensitive changes such as a new password, or to recover an account. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to keep your login details secure.

4. Your commitments

We ask you to help keep LinkKati safe and useful for everyone. In particular, you agree that you will not:

• Break the law, or use the Services to help anyone else break it.
• Post, share or link to anything that breaks our Community Standards.
• Access or collect data from the Services by automated means (such as bots, scrapers or crawlers) without our prior written permission, other than standard search-engine indexing that we allow.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, including by probing or testing their security, bypassing usage limits or verification steps, uploading malicious code, or placing an unreasonable load on our systems.
• Try to access accounts, pages, administrative areas or data that you are not authorized to access.
• Artificially inflate or manipulate views, clicks, analytics, reports or ad impressions, or click on ads in bad faith.
• Misuse our reporting, support or appeal tools, for example by filing false or abusive reports or support tickets.
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or create derivative works of the Services, except where the law expressly allows it.
• Sell, license or buy any account, handle or data obtained from us or through our Services.

5. Community Standards: content that is not allowed

These standards apply to everything on your LinkKati page: your handle, display name, bio, photo, link titles, link addresses and anything else you add. They also apply to the destination of every link. Linking to prohibited content, whether directly or through redirects, link shorteners or intermediate pages, is treated exactly as if you had posted that content on LinkKati.

You must not post, share or link to:

• Sexual content and nudity: pornography, sexually explicit material, nudity, sexual services, escort or “adult” content, or content that sexualizes any person, including suggestive material designed to lead people to such content.
• Any content that sexualizes minors, or that depicts, promotes or facilitates child sexual abuse or exploitation. We have zero tolerance for it: we will remove it, permanently disable the accounts involved, preserve the relevant information and report it to the competent authorities.
• Violent or graphic content: gory, shocking or cruel imagery, glorification of violence, or content that depicts or celebrates serious physical harm or cruelty to animals.
• Threats and incitement: threats of violence against any person or group, calls for violence, or content that encourages others to cause harm.
• Terrorism and violent extremism: support, praise, recruitment, funding or propaganda for terrorist organizations, violent extremist groups, organized criminal groups or their leaders.
• Hate speech: attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sect, caste, sex, gender, disability, disease or other protected characteristics.
• Harassment and bullying: abuse, humiliation or intimidation targeting a specific person, or encouraging others to harass someone.
• Suicide and self-harm: content that promotes or encourages suicide, self-injury or eating disorders, or gives instructions for them.
• Illegal or regulated goods and services: illegal drugs and controlled substances, weapons, ammunition and explosives, counterfeit goods, stolen data, human trafficking, forged documents, and any other goods or services whose sale or promotion is illegal where they are offered or where you are located.
• Gambling, betting and lotteries that are unlicensed or illegal in any place where they are offered, or that target minors.
• Fraud and deception: scams, phishing, fake contests and giveaways, pyramid or get-rich-quick schemes, fake investment or financial offers, and deceptive pages designed to obtain money, passwords or personal data.
• Malware and security threats: viruses, spyware, harmful or unwanted software, or links that start unwanted downloads.
• Spam: bulk, repetitive or unsolicited promotion, or pages created mainly to manipulate search results or to drive misleading traffic.
• Impersonation: pretending to be another person, brand, organization or public figure, or misleading others about who you are or whom you represent.
• Misleading links: link titles, icons or descriptions that hide where a link really leads, or links whose destination is later changed to avoid our review.
• Privacy violations: sharing another person's private information (such as their address, phone number, identity documents or financial data) without permission, sharing intimate images without the consent of the people in them, or any content that exposes someone to harm by revealing their information (doxxing).
• Intellectual property violations: content that infringes the copyright, trademarks or other rights of others, including pirated software, films, music or books.
• Any other content that is unlawful, that we reasonably consider harmful, abusive or offensive to our community, or that exposes LinkKati or its users to legal risk.

These examples are not a complete list. We decide, at our discretion, whether content breaks these standards, taking into account its context and the rights and safety of others. We may also restrict lawful content that is not appropriate for a general audience.

6. Handles and page addresses

Your handle is the unique name that forms the address of your public page. We make handles available for your use under these Terms: you do not own a handle, and it may not be sold, transferred or held for resale.

We may refuse, change, reclaim, remove or reassign a handle at any time, including when:

• it impersonates, or is likely to be confused with, another person, brand or organization;
• a trademark owner or other rights holder makes a credible claim to it;
• it is offensive or misleading, or otherwise breaks these Terms;
• the account has been inactive for an extended period, or has been deleted, suspended or terminated;
• it is a reserved word, a system name, or a name we need to operate the Services or for legal or security reasons;
• it is being held for speculation or trading, or kept without genuine use.

Where practical, we will try to let you know and give you the chance to choose a new handle. We are not responsible for lost traffic, broken links or any other effects of a handle change.

7. Your content and the licence you give us

You keep ownership of the content you add to LinkKati, such as your text, photos and links (“your content”). You alone are responsible for your content, and you confirm that you have all the rights and permissions needed to post it and to grant the licence below.

So that we can operate and improve the Services, you give LinkKati a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable licence to host, store, copy, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, translate, adapt (for example by resizing or compressing images or creating previews) and make available your content, in connection with operating, providing, securing, promoting and improving the Services. Sub-licensing is limited to the service providers who help us run the Services.

This licence ends when your content or your account is deleted. Deleted content may, however, remain for a limited period in backups and system logs, and we may keep it longer where the law requires it, to resolve disputes, to enforce these Terms, or where it is needed for safety or security investigations. Content that others have already shared or copied outside LinkKati is beyond our control.

Your public page is public by design: anyone on the internet, including search engines, may view, index, copy or share what you place on it. Do not add anything to your page that you want to keep private.

We may show your public page, handle, name and photo as examples, among featured pages, or in promotional material for LinkKati, unless you ask us through Support to stop.

8. How we moderate content and enforce these Terms

To protect our community, the public and the LinkKati service, we may, at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice, and without any liability to you, take any of the following actions:

• review, restrict, hide, disable or remove any content, link, image or page element;
• block specific links, URLs or entire domains, and prevent them from being added to LinkKati;
• unpublish a public page or restrict access to it, or show a warning before it opens;
• limit features, such as adding links or changing your handle;
• suspend, disable or permanently terminate an account, and refuse future registrations;
• reclaim, change or reassign a handle;
• preserve content and account information, and share it with law enforcement, regulators or other competent authorities where we believe in good faith that the law requires it or that it is necessary to prevent harm, fraud or illegal activity.

We are not obliged to monitor or review content, and we do not endorse any content posted by users. We may, however, review content proactively or in response to reports, and we may use automated tools, such as blocklists and detection systems, together with human review. No system is perfect: content that breaks these Terms may sometimes stay online, and content that does not may sometimes be restricted by mistake.

The action we take depends on how serious the violation is, its context and your history. For serious violations, such as content involving the sexual exploitation of minors, terrorism, credible threats or fraud, we may terminate an account immediately and without prior warning.

Authorized LinkKati staff may access your account and its data when needed to provide support, look into reports, review deletion requests, secure the Services or enforce these Terms. Such access is limited to what is necessary and is recorded.

9. Reporting content and appealing decisions

Anyone can report a public page they believe breaks these Terms by using the report option on that page, and account holders can also contact us through Support in the dashboard. Reports must be accurate and made in good faith; knowingly false or abusive reports are themselves a breach of these Terms.

When we take action on your content or account, we will try, where practical and lawful, to tell you what action we took and why. We may not give notice where doing so could harm others, compromise an ongoing investigation or break the law.

If you believe we made a mistake, you can ask us to review the decision by opening a support ticket from your dashboard (or, if you cannot sign in, by using the account recovery options on the sign-in page). Please explain why you believe the decision was wrong. We will review appeals in good faith and within a reasonable time, but the final decision on content, pages, handles and accounts rests with LinkKati.

If you believe content on LinkKati infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights, report it through the report option on the page or through Support, with enough information for us to identify the content and verify your rights. We may share your report with the person who posted the content.

10. Ads, third-party links and services

LinkKati is supported in part by advertising. You agree that we may show ads, sponsored content and promotions anywhere in the Services, including on public pages created by users, and that you are not entitled to any payment or share of revenue for this unless we agree otherwise with you in writing. We label ads where the law requires it, and advertisers are responsible for their own ads and offers.

Public pages contain links to websites, apps and services that LinkKati does not own or control. We do not endorse, verify or take responsibility for any third-party website, product, service, ad or offer, or for its content, availability, security or privacy practices. You visit third-party destinations at your own risk, and any transaction you make with a third party is solely between you and that third party.

Some features rely on outside providers, such as sign-in providers, email and WhatsApp messaging services, hosting and storage. Your use of those providers may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

11. Privacy and your data

We collect and use information to provide, secure and improve the Services. In brief:

• Account information: your name, email address, handle, password (stored in a protected, hashed form that cannot be read), profile details, profession and preferences, and details of any sign-in provider you connect.
• Your content: the links, bio, photo and other material you add, and records of changes to it.
• Phone number: only if you choose to add one. It is used to send one-time verification codes and to help recover your account, and for news and offers only with your separate consent.
• Visitor analytics: when people view your page or click your links, we record statistics such as views, clicks, date and time, device type, referring website and approximate location (such as country or city), derived from technical data such as the IP address. Your page analytics show you aggregated statistics that do not reveal who your visitors are.
• Support, reports and safety: the content of support tickets, reports, appeals and deletion requests, and security and audit logs.
• Consent records: when you agree to receive messages, we keep a record of the wording you agreed to and when you agreed.

We use this information to run your account and page, verify your identity, provide analytics, show ads and measure their performance, prevent fraud, abuse and spam, enforce these Terms, respond to support requests, meet our legal obligations and improve the Services. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Services, when you choose to make it public, when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or transfer of the Services.

Page owners who view analytics must use them lawfully and must not try to identify individual visitors.

You can review and update most of your information from your dashboard, and you can request the deletion of your account as described in the section “Account deletion, suspension and termination”. We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.

12. Communications from us

By creating an account, you agree that we may send you the service messages needed to run the Services, such as one-time verification codes, security alerts, password and account notices, replies to support tickets, moderation and enforcement notices, and notices of changes to these Terms. These messages may be sent by email, by WhatsApp (if you provided a phone number and agreed to receive codes there), or as notifications in your dashboard. Because they are part of the Services, you cannot opt out of essential service messages while you have an account.

We will send you news, offers or other marketing messages by email or WhatsApp only if you have given your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time from your account settings or by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message. Withdrawing consent does not affect messages already sent.

Your mobile or internet provider's standard message and data rates may apply. Verification codes are personal: never share them with anyone, including people who claim to be from LinkKati.

13. Your rights

We respect your rights as a user of LinkKati. Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you have the right to:

• keep ownership of your content, and edit or delete it at any time;
• access and update your account information from your dashboard, and request a copy of your personal information by contacting Support;
• export the analytics data available in your dashboard, where the export feature is offered;
• request the deletion of your account and personal information, as described in the section “Account deletion, suspension and termination”;
• be informed, where practical and lawful, when we take action against your content or account, and why;
• report content and appeal decisions that affect you;
• give or withdraw your consent to marketing messages at any time, and control optional settings such as your phone number;
• be notified of material changes to these Terms before they take effect;
• stop using the Services at any time.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country, including consumer protection and data protection laws, that cannot be waived by contract.

14. LinkKati's intellectual property

The Services, including the LinkKati name and logo (in Arabic and English), designs, page templates, icons, software, source code, databases and all related material we provide (excluding your content), are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Services as these Terms allow. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us.

You may not use our name, logo or brand in a way that suggests that we endorse, partner with or are affiliated with you, without our prior written permission. The icons of other platforms shown in the Services belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify those platforms.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without any obligation to you.

15. Account deletion, suspension and termination

You may stop using LinkKati at any time, and you can request the deletion of your account from your account settings. To protect you, we verify the request (for example with your password or a one-time code), and an administrator reviews it before the deletion is carried out. You can cancel the request while it is under review. We may decline or delay a request if we are legally required to keep the account, if there is an unresolved investigation, dispute or safety concern, or if the request cannot be verified; in that case we will tell you why where the law allows.

Once a deletion is completed, your public page is removed, your handle may become available to others, and your content and personal information are deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except for information we are required or permitted to keep, such as records of enforcement actions, consent records, audit and security logs, information needed to prevent abuse or repeat violations, and data held in backups until they expire. Deletion cannot be undone.

We may suspend or terminate your account, or stop providing all or part of the Services to you, at any time as described in the section “How we moderate content and enforce these Terms”, including if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, if your use creates risk or possible legal exposure for LinkKati or for others, or if we discontinue the Services. Where practical, we will notify you.

The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should continue after our relationship ends will survive, including those on your content (to the extent content is retained), ads and third-party links, LinkKati's intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law and disputes, and language and general terms, together with any liability you incurred before termination.

16. Disclaimers

We work to keep LinkKati available, secure and working well, but the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LinkKati disclaims all warranties and conditions, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

In particular, we do not guarantee that: the Services will be available, secure or free of errors or viruses at all times; your page, links, content or data will never be lost, altered or corrupted; analytics, view and click counts or location data will be accurate or complete; messages and verification codes will arrive on time; or any handle will remain available to you. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of content that matters to you.

We do not control, and are not responsible for, what users or third parties do, say or offer, whether on LinkKati or on websites linked from it.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LinkKati and its owners, operators, directors, employees, agents, partners, licensors and service providers (the “LinkKati parties”) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, sales, opportunities, goodwill, reputation, followers, audience, traffic or data, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, even if we were told that such damages were possible.

To the same extent, the LinkKati parties will not be liable for: content posted by you, other users or third parties; third-party websites, links, ads, products or services; the conduct of any user or third party, online or offline; unauthorized access to your account or data, unless it results from our failure to take reasonable security measures; interruptions, outages, delays, errors or data loss, or failures of communications, hosting or messaging providers; or actions we take in good faith to moderate content or enforce these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of the LinkKati parties for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim; or (b) fifty US dollars (USD 50).

These limitations apply to every basis of liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not limit liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, such as liability for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct where the law does not allow it to be limited, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where the law does not allow a particular limitation, that limitation applies to the fullest extent the law does allow.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the LinkKati parties from and against any claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, liabilities, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) brought or imposed by a third party or a public authority, arising out of or relating to: your content or the links you post and their destinations; your use or misuse of the Services; your breach of these Terms or of any law; or your infringement of the rights of any other person.

We may take control of the defense of any matter covered by this section, and you agree to cooperate with us. You may not settle any such matter without our prior written consent.

19. Changes to the Services and to these Terms

We are constantly developing LinkKati, so we may add, change, limit, suspend or discontinue any feature or part of the Services, temporarily or permanently, at any time. Where a change significantly affects you, we will try to give you reasonable notice, unless the change is urgent, for example for security, legal or safety reasons.

We may update these Terms from time to time, and the date at the top shows when they were last updated. If we make material changes, we will notify you before they take effect, for example by email or by a notice in your dashboard or on the site, and we may ask you to review and accept the updated Terms. If you continue to use the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services, and you may delete your account.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or to the Services, are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the country (and, where relevant, the state or emirate) in which the operator of LinkKati is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us through Support first and describe the problem. We will both try in good faith to resolve it informally within 30 days before either of us starts formal proceedings.

If the dispute is not resolved, it will be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of the place where the operator of LinkKati is established, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. However, if you are a consumer and the mandatory laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or under your local law, these Terms do not take that right away.

To the extent permitted by law, any claim relating to these Terms or the Services must be brought within one (1) year after its cause arose, or the claim is permanently barred. Also to the extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class or representative action.

21. Language and general terms

These Terms are available in Arabic and English. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between the two versions, the Arabic version prevails.

• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with any additional rules and consent statements we show you for specific features, are the entire agreement between you and LinkKati about the Services, and replace any earlier agreements on the same subject.
• Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the rest of these Terms will remain in full effect.
• No waiver: if we do not enforce a provision immediately, that does not mean we give up our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: you may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or change of operator, and these Terms will continue to apply.
• Force majeure: we are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, unrest, government action, power or internet outages, or failures of outside providers.
• No third-party beneficiaries: these Terms do not give rights to anyone else, except that the LinkKati parties may rely on the sections that protect them.
• Relationship: nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, employment or joint-venture relationship between you and LinkKati.
• Notices: we may send you notices by the email address linked to your account, by your phone number, in your dashboard or on the site. You send notices to us through Support.

22. Contacting us

The fastest way to reach us about these Terms, your account, a report or an appeal is to open a support ticket from your dashboard (Dashboard, then Support). If you cannot sign in, use the account recovery options on the sign-in page, then contact Support. People without an account can report a public page using the report option on that page.
